Housing construction costs in Yemen: Affordability & Purchasing Power - Middle East News

Housing construction costs in Yemen: Affordability & Purchasing Power - Middle East News : The substantial problem of a housing shortage is becoming an enduring feature in Yemen. All the same, the response to housing needs was hasty. Construction projects were executed using inappropriate and costly construction and design practices resulting in low-quality housing, causing further escalation in construction and housing costs to prices beyond the financial reach of the majority of the population in Yemen. A report by Dr. Basel Sultan.Improving the construction and housing sector is essential for several reasons. First for economic reasons, the performance of the construction & housing sector has a considerable influence on the overall economy where it contributes seven to 15 percent of the Gross National Product (GNP). Moladi reduces high costs of conventional building techniques through new technology Moladi reduces high costs of conventional building techniques through new technology New moladi construction technology Africa is a rapidly urbanising continent, which according to the UN Habitat, is increasing at a rate of 230,000 people who are moving into cities across Africa each week. What is the cost to 3D print a house? What is the cost to 3D print a house or rather the "walls" of a house? What is the cost to 3D print the walls of a house? Whenever there is a post regarding 3D printing of homes, we are tagged by friends and colleagues to respond to the advantages of moladi vs 3D Printing. We therefore want to make it quite clear that this post is published purely to summarise our take on the topic and to have the ability to reference these questions and statements without having to repeat what we see as inherent issues associated with the 3D printing process of houses. All of the numbers used for 3D printing cost purposes are assumed, as these cost are not readily available for the purpose of this cost example. We would invite any 3D printing entity to help with the actual numbers to take any guesswork out of the cost estimation. First 3D printing post in 2017:  3D Printing a house or is it in reality - 3D Printing Walls?    - Link The de...
