Why moladi?
Nearly 40 years ago, moladi asked a simple question:
Why are we still building millions of homes one brick at a time when almost every other industry has embraced industrialisation?
That question led to the development of a South African innovation that reimagined the way homes are built.
Instead of laying individual bricks, moladi industrialises the construction process by using reusable, lightweight, interlocking plastic formwork into which a specially formulated aerated mortar is poured. Overnight, the walls cure into a steel-reinforced monolithic structure. The formwork is then stripped and reused for the next house.
