ECape premier admits to poor housing delivery

Premier Nosimo Balindlela says governemnt falls short on housing deliveryJanuary 19, 2008, 16:00
Eastern Cape Premier Nosimo Balindlela has admitted that the ANC government has performed poorly on housing delivery in the province. She has told a 1000-strong crowd during the ANC's 92 years celebrations at Mount Ayliff that some service providers did shoddy work. Last year, Housing Minister Lindiwe Sisulu visited a collapsing RDP project at Ugie after complaints of poor workmanship. Balindlela says an investigation into misused funds is underway.
