moladi Construction Technology

moladi represents a ground breaking shift in the construction industry, offering a revolutionary approach to address global housing shortages while driving economic empowerment. This award winning, innovative, disruptive technology simplifies and accelerates the construction process through its patented reusable plastic formwork system, which enables the rapid production of durable, high-quality structures at a fraction of traditional costs.

By leveraging locally sourced materials and empowering local labour, moladi not only reduces logistical complexities but also fosters self-sufficiency within communities. Its focus on cost-effectiveness, speed, and simplicity makes it an ideal solution for tackling the housing backlog in developing and developed countries alike. EMPOWERING PEOPLE TO HELP THEMSELVES

Department of Human Settlements

Minister Thembi Simelane Human Settlements "Alternative building technology the way to go for quicker housing delivery" As Gauteng’s housing backlog continues to widen beyond the current 1.2-million units and this lacking security of tender, which impacts on economic empowerment and employment, human settlements experts have called for more innovative delivery models and alternative or innovative building technologies ABT or IBT to be embraced.

Gauteng human settlements MEC Tasneem Motara pointed out during an address at the Built Environment Indaba 2025, held last week, that Gauteng is home to more than 15-million people and is growing by about 300 000 residents each year, which makes for a relentless pace of urbanisation.

Youth employment and Skills Development Program

Entrepreneurship and skill development can be powerful tools in combating unemployment. By fostering a culture of innovation and creating jobs, entrepreneurs can help address the issue of high unemployment rates, particularly among youth. Developing entrepreneurial skills, like business planning, marketing, and finance, can empower individuals to not only find employment but also to create their own opportunities.
